Jim Larsen

Jim Larsen

Jim has been meditating daily since the age of 19. He had extensive study of meditation in India and has led personal development workshops internationally for over 40 years. He believes that living an authentic, dynamic and joyful life is everyone's natural state, but it doesn't blossom on its own.
Living our full potential requires more than thinking about it and more than relaxation techniques. We must learn to skilfully use the breath & deep meditation practices to dissolve the impressions accumulated in the mind which are the root cause of tension, anxiety and negative emotions.
In addition to public workshops and advanced meditation retreats, Jim has worked for 20 years with the nonprofit International Association for Human Values to uplift and restore the quality of life for populations who have faced traumatic conditions, including veterans, police, frontline healthcare workers, prison inmates, and survivors of natural disasters, cancer and depression.
